I don’t know about you, but I absolutely hated working for someone else. I didn’t care for being talked down to, I didn’t like always having to be there bright and early in the morning (I am NOT a morning person) and I really didn’t like how little I made for the amount of time I was actually gone from home (and I had a PART-TIME job!) Maybe you aren’t like me, maybe you like working…though if you really did you probably wouldn’t be looking for a way to work from home. Unless of course you just need to work from home so you can stay home with your kids, that is another reason I wanted to do so, it was very important to me to be a stay at home mom. I am very blessed to have found a way to do that and I am happy to share with you the secret I found not that long ago.

It isn’t really a secret, you may have already stumbled across it yourself, but I have to say that even though this way of making money from home was there all along I couldn’t find it and I was looking…hard! Anyway, the secret is called affiliate marketing and it is really very simple.

As an “affiliate” marketer you can write articles about any topic you like, you find a product that fits your topic (or write your article or post about a product) and then get yourself an affiliate link from a company that will pay you a commission if someone purchases said product through your link. It goes like this:

Write an article and include your affiliate link ==> Send traffic to article (for free by writing other articles that point to it) ==> Someone buys product through you link ==> You make a commission.

Easy right?! It can be. But it isn’t easy to learn and it can really be confusing in the beginning, I remember, it wasn’t that long ago that I learned how to do all of this. Now I get it, I spend my days writing articles about many different topics, and I make money everyday from home from articles I wrote a long time ago.

How it works is simple, you can either write articles for yourself and earn commissions or you can write articles for other people and get paid for writing them. There are thousands of people working online every day and they all have one thing in common…they have too much work and not enough time. So what else do they all have in common? They are all willing to pay other people to help them out. This means that they will gladly pay you around $10 per article (typically 400 words); and if you do a great job, you can get more work from those same people over and over again.
